A car rests on top of a home in Nampa after a single-vehicle crash Sunday morning. According to Nampa police, the car was traveling westbound on Amity Avenue at a high rate of speed, hit a berm and went airborne. It then struck the chimney of a home before landing on the roof of another house next door. One passenger died in the crash, while the driver and another passenger were injured. No one in either home was hurt.

Nampa police have arrested the driver of a car that crashed into a berm, went airborne, and landed onto the roof of a house last weekend, killing a passenger in the vehicle.
Angel Eduardo Rico, an 18-year-old Caldwell man, was arrested Friday at his residence and has been charged with vehicular manslaughter, the Nampa Police Department announced in a news release.
Police say Rico was driving the Dodge Challenger that launched off a berm in the front yard of a Nampa residence, struck the chimney of one house, and then landed on top of another home on the morning of Sunday, Dec. 1, in the 1000 block of East Amity Avenue.
